Terms of Use
Last updated:
By using JSONYard ("the site") you agree to these terms. They're meant to be readable.
1. The service
JSONYard is a free, browser-based collection of JSON tools. We provide it as-is; we may add, change, or remove features at any time without notice.
2. Acceptable use
You may use the site for any lawful purpose. You agree not to:
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or break the site or the network it runs on.
- Use automated tools to access the site in a way that imposes an unreasonable load.
- Use the site to violate anyone else's rights or applicable law.
- Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with security or access controls.
3. Your content
You retain all rights to the JSON, CSV, XML, YAML, or other data you process through the site. Because the processing happens in your browser, we never receive or store your content. The data is yours; the responsibility for it is yours.
4. Intellectual property
The site's design, code, and content are owned by the operator. You may not republish substantial portions of the site as your own. You may, of course, use the tools to do your work — that's the point of the site.
5. Warranty disclaimer
The site is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the tools are bug-free or that they handle every edge case of every spec correctly. Always verify the output before using it in production.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the site — including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim is limited to USD 0 (zero), because we are not charging you for the service.
7. Third-party content
The site may display advertisements or link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be noted on the homepage for a reasonable period.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in courts of competent jurisdiction there.
